A sundial in Leon

On Friday June 19, it took place in the college of La Palomera the inauguration of a sundial that was installed in the center courtyard, with celebrate the 2015 International Year of Light and Technology based Light also a central theme of the Cultural Week of the school. The cost of acquisition and installation has been carried out by the Association of Parents of school, and at the opening, to the members of the school board and the AMPA, was attended by the former teacher, writer and scientist José Luis Lorente Aragon, who calculated the position and the exact coordinates of the clock. In addition to this inauguration they were attended by workers León Crafts Center, which completely disinterested limestone carved stones and made the mounting.
