Olearum inaugurates a sundial in Buera (Huesca - Spain)
Olearum, Culture and Heritage Oil, an association created to defend the virgin olive oil, this past week has developed a program of activities in the towns of Alpicat (Lleida) and Buera (Huesca) to conduct various promotional events.
On Saturday 25 was inaugurated a horizontal sundial large, 20 feet long by 14 wide and 11-meter mast. The uniqueness is that, besides being the world's first sundial of its kind, each of the hours that coincide with an olive check a variety of the Somontano. Designed and built by Augustin Serés conjunction with Mariano Lisa, both members of Olearum, is located next to the Chapel of St. Mary of Dulcis.
